As apart of their Service Learning Project for Negotiation this semester Michael Malouf, Sultan Alsaheal, Alex Patkin, Yao Chai and Taylor Gallagher aim to raise awareness and provide information on how to avoid stress, anxiety and depression whilst studying.

The project will help develop to develop the outreach initiative in assisting the BondMate Program and further student support such as Life One workshop. This will help make students feel welcome at Bond and raise awareness of mental health issues many students deal with from the pressures of their degree supporting the RUOK Foundation. The R-U-OK Foundation is a great initiative in order to encourage people to start a conversation with affiliated organisations such as Beyond Blue, Black Dog Institute, ReachOut.com, SANE Australia and the Salvation Army. At Bond, the One Life program is free for all students and aims for a complete well being of life, balance, and individual needs in order to achieve their ambition. Bond University counsellors Kate Bartlett and Deborah Jackson run this program for nine weeks, with a 90-minute sessions each week in order to deal with the pressures of study and put the individual’s life into perspective with recognised techniques.
